At a reunion, thirty relatives take photos on thirty phones. Afterwards someone starts a group chat, the photos arrive compressed, they are buried in a week of replies, and half the family never sees the shots they are in. Older relatives who do not use a messaging app see nothing at all.

The people who care most about the photos, grandparents and cousins who live far away, are often the ones least comfortable with a new app or a login.

1. Create one album for the reunion and share the link or QR code in the family group chat, on an invitation, or on a card at the venue.
2. Everyone adds photos from their own phone as the day goes on, or afterwards. No app and no account are needed, so older relatives can take part by scanning a code.
3. Each person takes a selfie and sees only the photos they appear in, instead of scrolling through every photo from every phone.
4. Everyone downloads their own set in full resolution. Photos are not squeezed the way a chat app compresses them, as long as downloads are on.

• Print the QR code on name tags or place cards. Everyone arrives with the code already in their hand.
• Ask one person to be the album host. The host can add a co-host, so more than one person can manage the album.
• Make a family challenge. A short list of photos to take, such as "three generations in one frame", gets the quieter relatives taking pictures too.

A reunion mixes ages and devices. Because everything runs in a phone or computer browser, the same link works on a new phone and on an older tablet.
