How does the face recognition work?
When you upload photos, our AI automatically detects and indexes every face. When a guest uploads their selfie, we compare it against all indexed faces and return matching photos in seconds: with 99%+ accuracy.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Each event is isolated with its own secure storage. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Guest selfies are deleted after processing. We never sell your data, and you can delete event data anytime.
Can guests download their photos?
Yes. Guests can download individual photos or their entire matched collection. Organizers control download permissions in event settings.
What happens when my event expires?
Free plan events last 30 days. Pro and Business plans have longer retention. You get email reminders before expiry and can download photos or upgrade to extend access.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes, anytime. Upgrades apply immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades apply at the end of the current billing cycle. No cancellation fees.
What is Camera FTP tethering?
Enable Camera FTP to get secure FTPS credentials. Enter them into Sony, Canon, Nikon, or Fuji Wi‑Fi FTP settings. Each shot uploads to the event gallery in about 1–2 minutes with dedup and AI face indexing: no laptop tether.
Can I import photos from Dropbox?
Yes. Paste a Dropbox shared folder link, preview what is new, and sync. Pixeva imports only new photos, skips duplicates, and runs the same AI indexing pipeline. Included in all plans.
How does Google Drive Sync work?
Paste a public Google Drive folder link. Pixeva imports photos into your event. Delta sync pulls only new files later and skips duplicates. Included in all plans.
What is WhatsApp photo delivery?
Guests can message Pixeva on WhatsApp, send a selfie, and receive their matched photos: no app download and no login required.
What are Smart Albums?
AI groups every face into people albums automatically. Name people, merge or split groups, and let guests jump straight into named albums. Included in all plans.
What is Collaborative Mode?
Invite photographers, friends, or attendees to upload into one event gallery. Contributors request access; once approved, their uploads appear in the main gallery.
What is the Auto Cull Assistant?
AI scores photos on lighting, sharpness, and composition, then sorts into Reject, Review, and Keep so you can clean large galleries in one pass. Available on all plans.
Is Pixeva free to use?
Yes. Pixeva has a free tier for smaller events with AI face search. Paid plans add higher limits, longer retention, and priority processing.
How do guests access their photos?
Share a QR code or invite link. Guests take a selfie and the AI finds their photos in seconds. No app download required.
Can I upload videos to my event?
Yes. MP4, MOV, and WebM videos appear in the same gallery with thumbnails and playback. Limits depend on your plan.
