Delta sync
Also called: incremental sync
Delta sync imports only the files that are new since the last sync, rather than re-importing an entire folder every time.
When a gallery is fed from a Dropbox or Google Drive folder that keeps growing, re-scanning everything on each sync is slow and creates duplicates.
Delta sync tracks what it has already imported and pulls just the additions, so a studio folder can be connected once and topped up repeatedly.
Pixeva applies delta sync to both Dropbox and Google Drive imports, alongside de-duplication.
