Get Your Event Photos on WhatsApp

1. Step 1

   Guest sends the event code

   Every event has an 8-character invite code. The guest sends it to Pixeva on WhatsApp and the chat confirms the event name.

2. Step 2

   Guest sends a selfie

   Pixeva searches the event for that face. A clear, well-lit, front-facing selfie gives the best results.

3. Step 3

   Photos arrive in the chat

   Matching photos are sent 10 at a time, with a button to load more. If the host allows browsing, guests can also open the full gallery from the chat.

4. Step 4

   Save everything as a zip

   If downloads are enabled for the event, the guest can ask for all their photos as a zip and the download link is sent back in the same chat.

Do guests need to install anything?

No. Guests use the WhatsApp they already have. They send the event code and a selfie in a chat and get their photos back there.

How does a guest find their photos on WhatsApp?

They send the 8-character event invite code, then a selfie. Pixeva matches the face against the photos in that event and sends back the ones they appear in, 10 at a time.

Can guests download all their photos at once?

Yes, when downloads are enabled for the event. The guest taps Save All as Zip and Pixeva sends the download link in the chat once the zip is ready. If the matches include videos, they can choose photos only, videos only, or both.

Can the host control what guests can do?

Yes. The host can pause the gallery, turn Browse All on or off, and turn downloads on or off. A paused gallery tells guests it is temporarily unavailable.

Can I run my event from WhatsApp too?

Yes. After linking your Pixeva account with your email and a one-time code, you can create events and upload photos from WhatsApp.
